Alabama Gov. Signs Bill Prohibiting DEI

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed a sweeping bill that prohibits the use of state funds for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs and offices at state agencies, higher education institutions and other public entities. This is a racist, vile and shameful act. This old bat Gov. Kay Ivey is nothing more than the female version of Goerge Wallace. And the other guilty culprit the State Senator who sponsored this monstrosity the anti-DEI legislation, is none other than Will Barfoot. Both will end up in the same depths of hell as Ivey’s predessesor Goerge Wallace with a legacy thats equally matched.

Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin, as a leader of a major city like Birmingham, believes it could impede progress toward creating a more inclusive and equitable society in Alabama, particularly in the context of addressing historical and systemic disparities. “To the parents of minority athletes who are helping their children decide if they want to play sports at those institutions: Would you be cool with your child playing football, basketball or any sport at schools where diversity among staff is actively being discouraged?” The Mayor wrote on Facebook.
