Brendan Paul, an alleged associate of Sean “Diddy” Combs, gets a sweet-heart deal he managed to avoid jail time in a drug case by entering a diversion program.
On March 25, Brendan Paul was arrested at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. He was found in possession of cocaine and cannabis-infused candy. Interestingly, his arrest coincided with raids on Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
Paul accepted a plea deal, which allowed him to enter a drug diversion program. This program typically lasts about six months. While the case and charges are still technically pending, if Paul successfully completes the program, there will be no jail time or probation.
Brendan Paul, a former Syracuse University basketball player, had previously been named in a civil sexual assault lawsuit filed by Diddy’s former producer and videographer. Despite the arrest, there was no direct connection between Paul and Diddy.
