Israel strikes on the southern Gaza city of Rafah overnight have resulted in a devastating loss of life. According to health officials, 18 children were among the 22 people killed. The situation is heartbreaking, especially considering that many of the victims sought refuge in Rafah from fighting elsewhere in Gaza.
