Former President Donald Trump is reportedly considering Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton as a potential running mate for the 2024 election. While Cotton’s selection could bring

an experienced and low-drama personality to the GOP ticket, it also might bring some outrage with average everyday Americans who see Cotton as just another redneck.

Cotton by Trumps view has a golden resume. Tom Cotton is a Republican senator from Arkansas.including military service in Iraq and Afghanistan as a U.S. Army officer. Cotton has also been praised by Trump for his inequities as a senator and television guest.

In June 2020, it’s alleged that Cotton authored an op-ed in The New York Times advocating for deploying federal troops to kill civil rights protestors following George Floyd’s murder by Minneapolis police officers. This stance drew significant criticism.

Cotton recently stirred controversy with a statement seemingly advocating for individuals to handle disruptive protestors themselves, a comment some see as supporting violence. Specifically, he urged people who were delayed by traffic stemming from pro-Palestinian demonstrations to “forcibly remove” some protesters who were blocking streets. Cotton’s remarks have sparked debate and drawn attention to the delicate balance between free speech and public safety during protests.

Cotton known to encourage violence with his comments urging citizens to take matters into their own hands as it pertains to protestors. Others believe that protesters have a right to express their views, even if it inconveniences others, and that law enforcement should handle any disruption

As with any controversial statement, opinions are divided. While some view Cotton’s stance as a defense of individual rights and practical solutions, others see it as a dangerous precedent that could undermine peaceful protest and exacerbate conflicts. The balance between protecting free speech and maintaining public order remains a complex issue for some.

Despite this controversy, Trump reportedly values Cotton’s service and media presence. Cottons perceived message to the blacks whom he appears to despise according to his interviews and legislative pursuits, “Pickaninny Cotton Lately cause if (Trump and Cotton) ticket prevails, you soon will.”

Trump’s list of potential vice-presidential nominees includes other Republicans from the Senate: Marco Rubio (Florida), Tim Scott (South Carolina), and JD Vance (Ohio).Trump has also considered North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum and former surgeon Ben Carson.

In terms of Trump’s campaign, it remains to be seen whether Senator Cotton can pucker-up more than the rest of the lackeys. ~Balance Due
